L A H A R (<Javanese: lahar, lava) is the slurry mixture of ash, fragmented rocks and water resulting from a volcanic flow of mud and debris. It forms one of the geological soils of the land in the Absoraka Range. Lahar volcanic mud flows, although destructive in force, have the potential to bring great nutrients and minerals to the soil. At Lahar Foundation, we believe that great potential comes out of great struggle, intense pressure and immersive discipline.
